i hate carnations. and i realize that hate is a very strong word but, up until this moment, it is how i have previously felt about these underrated, undervalued little flowers. i hate the way they are all fuzzy and live forever even after the rest of the flowers have died away.
behold! i have found and actually purchased carnations that i LOVE! and on my grad-school chic little shoestring budget fresh flowers are a huge luxury but with these super-powered little guys ($2 at the local market) even i can afford that luxury. i think they are beautiful!! im keeping a record to see how long the will last - ill let you know!
so remember i told you i would let you know how long these misunderstood beauties lasted - well i threw out the last two 3 1/2 weeks later!!! can you believe that?!
