this arrangement from studio choo captures perfectly the transition at this time of year. The weather here in San Francisco has definitely taken a turn and im finding it a bit hard to adjust to the afternoon darkness. I have been remiss here on the blog but inspiration seems to be eluding me these past few weeks. Im eager for the thanksgiving break - to head home to new england and visit my family. It will be nice to have everyone around the table. what are you plans?
also, if you are in the bay area - don't forget to come say hi tomorrow at the New Taste Marketplace!

flowers for friday
so im sure you are all familiar with the gorgeous work of studio choo. they are two sf girls who also write a column for design*sponge and concoct stunning florals divine.
i was visiting their blog a few weeks ago and came across this arrangement - sine i havent been able to get it out of my mind. i love the contrast of the dark anemone centers with the light fluffy ranunculus and those crazy cool green and pink tree peonies (at least im pretty darn sure thats what that is) add earthy succulents plus lilacs and olive leaf - it seems the perfect grouping for this time of year -
i would love the chance to work with these girls, they are crazy talented!!
