i have a deep seeded love of llbean and have worn their "bean boots" for decades at this point. its a company that has been around for many many years and are truly a staple of any new england house hold. Im coveting these rehashed "bean boots" - the ducktrap boot -  for fall and think they will fit very nicely into my san francisco wardrobe.  there are some other great things in their signature collection too! 

today i wish i to wear this -

perhaps its inspired by my rainy sunday at the beach or perhaps its inspired by the amazing old pair of tall bean boots i scored that are now staring at me longingly from the closet - but i wish it was cold enough or rainy enough today to necessitate wearing an outfit like this -

scrunch down the socks, roll up the sweater cuffs so a little blue peeks out ......might even chop some wood after
